We are Children of Colour, a leading fostering agency based in Croydon with over twenty years experience of caring for children. We are dedicated to providing safe, nurturing, and loving homes for children of all backgrounds. Our mission is to ensure that every child, regardless of their race or ethnicity, receives the support and care that they deserve. At Children of Colour, we understand the importance of cultural identity and strive to match children with foster families who can provide a culturally sensitive environment.
What is Fostering
Foster carers provide a place in their home and a life for children who are unable to live with their own parents or family.
Fostering can provide both temporary and permanent care for a child. Fostered children may return home however, sometimes issues cannot be resolved and their parents cannot provide safe care.
After long periods children might move from foster care to being adopted, and young people might move on to independent living.
We Offer
Comprehensive Foster Care Support
Our agency provides comprehensive support for both foster parents and children in our care, including weekly check-ins, monthly supervision with your dedicated supervising social worker and monthly support groups.
Placement Matching
We take the time to match children with the most suitable foster families and provide ongoing support to ensure successful placements.
Advance Training
We offer free comprehensive monthly training throughout your journey with us as a foster carer. This will give you the tools to manange any challenges you may experience.

Family come to mind when I think of Children Of Colour. For the past twenty years we have been making a difference to childrens lives. Our team have been dedicated and commited to supporting and empowering our foster carers and the children in their care.
Every child is unique and deserves to be seen, heard and made to feel special. At Children Of Colour we embrace challenges and celebrate differences. We do this by nurturing and encouraging our young people to be their best version of themselves possible, no matter their past experiences or where they come from.
It is our mission to support the most vulnerable people in society, the youth of today and ensure they have the foundations for a positive future so they can be a generation we can be proud of.
